Though we enjoyed our smaller apartment, the space we're now in is even nicer. Health features are built-in: the open air atrium allows fresh air to flow to your front door, and each apartment has its own HVAC system — no shared air ducts, no shared germs.
Modern, open layout apartments are conducive to working from home, and high-speed internet is included in the price of rent. When I got my carpets cleaned for renewing my lease, the guy who cleans the carpets told me that they're partially plastic and are some of the cheapest he has seen anywhere. The Canyons is a beautiful property right on the Trinity River, probably my favorite thing about them. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Everyone in the office, especially the manager, was incredibly sympathetic; our need for a bigger apartment was met the same day.

In the heart of Portland, The Canyons elegantly combines green design, holistic wellness and intentional community without sacrificing access to city arts and culture. Even inside the apartments the blinds, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, etc are all outdated and cheaply put together. I still have two different people I know that went to other complexes and are still waiting for their deposit to be returned to them weeks or even months later. Breed restrictions apply. This apartment community was built in 1998 and has 3 stories with 673 units.
