Most students are willing learners though. When i began teaching it took around 3 weeks to fill up my schedule, the company began making changes and you began to lose the bonus schemes that they entice you in with, you no longer get reward points to be redeemed, you no longer get stand by pay ( they will cut your hours so your not working on standby) they have removed the 6 and 21 hour student bonus, they reduce their current teachers hours so they can hire more teachers, the company does not look after there existing teachers and the new teachers are only looked after for a short time. This company doesn't give you any options. Fairly good company to work for, although there is a lot of issues with internet connections, which affect the bonus. You have no choice in the matter.
To expect anything beyond that would be foolish of employees and this should be taken in to consideration when applying to DaDaABC. I am @contracted@ to have 4 students a day 5 days a week. DaDa retains the right to change your contract at any moment and do anything they want, meaning that you might sign a contract for a certain number of hours but that means nothing. They will cut your hours with out warning, heavy penalties for taking time off, bonuses will be removed without notification. So all the time I put in for the company was completely wasted. The good part of this job is the kids; they can be great. The only part of the job that was good was that I could work from home. Students cancel or unfilled slots are all now basically unpaid. Straightforward but too fast between classes, Classes are good but everything else is awful. There is no benefit to working here outside of the experience. I also sent through a copy of my travel documents as they requested. I got penalised for booking holiday when I wasn't even in the country. Currently, there are three different policies for different types of cancellations. Why else would a company schedule in classes when they know the contract had ended with me?
